Support
Account
How do I create a Saarathi account?
Download Saarathi from the App Store or Google Play, open the app, and tap Sign up. You will need an email address and a password.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password? and enter the email tied to your account. We will email you a link to set a new password. If you don’t see the email, check your spam folder.
How do I change my email address?
Changing the email on an existing account isn’t available in the app yet. Email support@saarathi.us from the address currently tied to your account and we will help you switch it.
How do I delete my account or my data?
You can delete your account from inside the app (Profile → Settings → Delete account) or by emailing privacy@saarathi.us. See the Account deletion page for what gets deleted, what we keep for a limited time, and how long it takes.
Notifications
I’m not getting push notifications. What should I check?
Walk through this list, in order:
- Confirm that notifications are enabled in your device settings for the Saarathi app. On iOS: Settings → Saarathi → Notifications. On Android: Settings → Apps → Saarathi → Notifications.
- In the app, open Profile → Settings → Notifications and make sure the categories you care about are turned on.
- Confirm your device has network connectivity.
- Force-quit and re-open the app. The app refreshes its push token on launch.
If notifications still don’t arrive, email support@saarathi.us with your device model and OS version.
How do I turn off notifications from a specific publisher?
Open the publisher’s profile and tap Unsubscribe. You will stop receiving their announcements and updates in your inbox and as notifications.
Content and community
How do I report inappropriate content or a user?
Tap the menu on the comment, event, message, or profile, then tap Report and pick a reason. We aim to review reports of objectionable content within 24 hours. For urgent reports — especially anything involving the safety of a child — email abuse@saarathi.us. Our full policy is in the Community Guidelines.
How do I block another user?
Open their profile, tap the menu icon, and select Block. Blocking works both ways: you will no longer see each other’s content, and neither of you receives the other’s comments, broadcasts, or notifications. You can manage your block list in Profile → Settings → Blocked Users.
Someone is impersonating me or my organization. What do I do?
Email abuse@saarathi.us with a link or screenshot of the impersonating account and any documentation that confirms your identity (for example, a business registration). We review impersonation reports as a priority.
How do I publish events and reach subscribers?
Every signed-in Saarathi account can create and publish events — there is no separate publisher application. When people subscribe to you, you can send them announcements, and you can send updates to the attendees of your events. Individual profiles are private by default; make yours public in Profile → Edit profile if you want to be discoverable (organization profiles are always public).
Privacy and data
Where is my data stored?
Your account information and the content you create are stored with Supabase (a hosted database and authentication provider) and Cloudflare R2 (for image and audio files). A full list of providers, and what each receives, is in Section 6 of our Privacy Policy.
Do you sell my data?
No. We do not sell or share personal information in the sense defined by California’s CCPA / CPRA. The full picture of what we collect and how we use it is in the Privacy Policy.
How do I download a copy of my data?
Email privacy@saarathi.us from the address tied to your account with the subject Data export. We will reply within 30 days with a portable archive of your account data.
